Notes: OKAY. This'll be interesting.

A fairy tale-type story based loosely off my Kingdom Hearts/Final Fantasy roleplay with akisolj. Basically...I got the idea writing out Genesis' dialogue, because he's constantly making literary references. Essentially, this is to the roleplay, or at least the Sephiroth Arc, as LOVELESS is to Crisis Core. (LOVELESS the play, not Loveless the shounen-ai manga XD though apparently LOVELESS the play does have shounen-ai themes...? Traveller/Hero OTP totally *shot*) Since Genesis can't really quote LOVELESS anymore, he says "I'm writing my own story"--i.e. taking hold of his own destiny instead of relying on a book to determine it.

Genesis: Do you understand now? No one can control him. Sephiroth, the nightmare, the god. The Angel of Death's wings are no longer clipped. And no doubt...the chains your little witch locked his memories away with have fallen away by now.
Riku + Kairi: *bristle*
Kairi: How dare you call her that!
Genesis: Ah...the Princess and the Dark Knight. *gaze stops at Sora* Two-faced cards. The Crown Prince and the Key of Destiny. The Princess Royal and the Enchantress. But they are inconsequential to my purpose. *continues past Vincent and Yuffie* He who was once Chaos, Harbinger of the End. The Mischevious Thief. *stops at Cloud, Tifa and Leon* The Village Boy who became Dragonslayer and his lovers. I find it hard to believe a child like you would play such a part, but then again, the dragon orchestrates his own defeat by playing with his prey for too long.
Cloud: .....
Zack: *strides over to stand by him*
Genesis: And who do you think you are?
Zack: The village boy's best friend, I suppose. Or you could call me the "dragon-tamer". *grins recklessly* He who turns beasts into men.

Funny thing is, I've been calling Sephiroth "the dragon" ever since the title of the Load in the first Underworld Arc, "Princess Vs. Dragon". (stolen from Bleach >.> ) But in that case, Aerith's the princess...

This deviates somewhat from the actual plot of the RP, especially near the end, but I was trying to make it fairy-tale-like. I'll leave who the different characters correspond to up to the reader...

Notes: Something I wrote to solidify some of the ideas for my doujin, Lead and Follow. It started out not unlike Proximity did; a few stupid gratuitous scenes that would make any 13-year-old yaoi fangirl squeal, and I told myself I'd leave it at that. HAHAHA. Funny, I am. Really. Unfortunately, I still like my plot better than my smut. Woe. Anyway, I ended up combining it with some of my ideas for Tifa/Aerith doujin, because I needed some shoujo-ai. After all, I keep promising delovely_masha some… >.>

Well, the T/A pairing is implied in Proximity, but it's not the focus at all, and you really need to read into it anyway. Mostly because too many yaoi fans have this problem with yuri. Well, this time around I decided I didn't care. So, I'm sorry if you follow my work and don't like girl/girl. Too bad. Don't read it.

Anyway, this has a similar basis to "incompletion", but that was kind of tragic and made me feel bad, even if I was happy with how it came together. It was my first exploration with the whole "Tifa isn't real" storyline, as I've always written her as a resident of Hollow Bastion/Radiant Garden because of the roleplay. But I wanted a different, more hopeful outcome, at least.

I ramble. But Lead and Follow is much more than this one scene, both before and after it. I hope it's not too vague. I just felt like it needed to be written.

I'm taking this lightly here, but it's actually rather serious. And Cloud is technically 16, but mentally a lot younger since he lost about 4 years of growing up normally. So my language is probably too sophisticated, as usual, but I'm not changing my style just because of that.

I realized that most of my OC nowadays, when I must have them in fics, are either mature adults or small children. Possibly because that lessens the chance of romantic involvement with the canon characters, so less people will scream "Sue!". People will scream "Sue!" anyway, but what are you gonna do.

Notes: Contrary to popular belief, I don’t hate on Cloud/Aerith. I’m just a Cloud/Tifa fan. If you look at the game, the player makes the choices for Cloud, so really, both pairings are canon. Advent Children is significantly ambiguous enough for this to work. So people should quit with the drama. (it’s been ten years already, geez.) Anyway, this just sort of happened. Spoilers for Advent Children, since it’s, well, the ending.

Inspiration just struck, is all....25 will be the last part, I'm just stuck on finishing the fight scene. *wipes forehead* Phew. This got to be more than I expected it to. I'm not posting this on DA until I finish the last part, so if in the meantime if anyone wants to beta, it would be greatly appreciated. I like what I did here, but I feel like my writing got sloppier? I don't know. Comments welcome.

Other notes: I hope I covered the time gap between 23 and 24 okay? 23 is a week or two before the beginning of KH II, and 24 is after you beat Hollow Bastion (and it returns to being Radiant Garden). When you arrive before that story arc and talk to Cloud, he says something like "I don't care what happens to this world." My reaction was something like "Jeez....JERK." But then I realized it says in his character profile that he doesn't like other people knowing what he's thinking. XD

And Leon and Cloud are seriously slashy all on their own. I don't need to do anything...

And I managed to explain why Cloud's got Leviathyn Blade in KHII instead of the Buster Sword! Who's awesome? I think I am.

(....being able to fill in plotholes is actually not that fantastically exciting a talent. >.> )
